The Saigeri Solar Park is a 40MW Solar + Storage project designed to supply clean and sustainable electricity to the grid. The system integrates advanced photovoltaic (PV) technology with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to enhance grid stability and maximize power utilization. The solar park is designed with high-efficiency 615W PV modules, a DC ratio of 1.5, and central & string inverters for optimized performance. The project complies with international standards such as IEC 60038, IEC 62271, and IEC 60947 to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety. The project will interconnect to the Kimuka Substation through a Loop-In Loop-Out (LILO) configuration via a 132kV transmission line.
The Saigeri Solar Park utilizes high-performance monocrystalline solar modules, each boasting a 615W capacity, with a total of approximately 97,560 modules installed. These modules operate at a 1500V voltage rating and are configured with a DC ratio of 1.5 to optimize energy yield. To maximize solar capture throughout the day, the modules are mounted on a single-axis tracking system. This system dynamically adjusts the tilt angle based on the sun’s position. The design also carefully considers the ground slope to ensure structural integrity, and the entire mounting structure is engineered to withstand wind loads of up to 40-50 meters per second, ensuring resilience in varying weather conditions.
The Saigeri, Solar Park is designed to optimize solar energy production with a DC Ratio of 1.5, a BESS capacity of 160MWh, and a single-axis tracking system. The project ensures seamless grid integration through a 132kV Loop-In Loop-Out (LILO) connection to Kimuka Substation. With an efficient ring collector network, advanced SCADA monitoring, and compliance with IEC standards, the plant is set to provide sustainable and reliable energy for the national grid.
